What should I expect when I arrive?
When you arrive at the Courtyard by Marriott you will be seen by a staff member, who will search all items brought into the Giving All Back DIP program. You will then receive your room assignment. After settling in, the group meets in the lecture room to begin the program.
What if some of my items are confiscated when my belongings are searched?
Due to the rules mandated by the State of Ohio, certain items and all medications must be confiscated upon your arrival. A list of all confiscated items is kept, signed by the individual, and witnessed by a staff member.
What if I don’t want to share a hotel room with another individual?
It is possible for you to have your own room at an additional cost.
Can I bring a cell phone?
Yes, but cell phones must either be checked in or left in your room. Because of confidentiality they can not be used in group or meeting areas.
What should I bring with me?
A list of items that you should, and can not, bring with you is included in the registration packet that you print for yourself. All meals are provided on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday.
What is BAC?
BAC is blood alcohol content, the number that registered on the breathalyzer.
Why do you need my social security number or BAC level?
Some registration information, such as social security, BAC, or driver’s license points, is a requirement of the State of Ohio and your ordering court, and must be provided in order to complete registration with Giving All Back and fulfill the requirements of the ordering court and the State of Ohio.
How do I sign up?
